Overview

Built for the road it lights.

TR · TR408-A / TR408-B / TR408-C

TR408 Series solar street lights top the all-in-one line. Aimed at arterial roads and highways, its A/B/C variants put an SMD 5050 array and a wide 408 mm body together with an integrated panel, a LiFePO4 pack and an MPPT charge controller, all sealed to IP66 and set to brighten as vehicles pass.

The range reaches from 8 m to 12 m of mounting height. TR408-A opens with 96 SMD 5050 LEDs and an 80 W panel, TR408-B lifts that to 120 LEDs on the 120 W panel, and TR408-C closes the family at the 150 W panel with a 25.6 V pack; wattage, LED count and panel grow together across the three.

Why buyers pick it

Built in, not bolted on.

The features below come from the family's own specification — nothing here is available as a paid extra.

  • High-voltage platformA 12.8 V or 25.6 V battery system carries higher power on the same pole than a low-voltage build.
  • Large integrated panelPanels run from 80 W to 150 W inside the housing, so the array scales with the route.
  • SMD 5050 outputThe SMD 5050 assembly is built for wide carriageways rather than a narrow pool of light.
  • Motion-sensing controlOutput rises to full as traffic approaches and eases back when the road is clear.
  • Highway pole heightsThe range is set up for the 8-12 m masts used on arterial and trunk roads.
  • Sealed IP66 bodyThe die-cast housing is rated IP66, so the battery and controller stay protected in storms.
Selection guide

Match the model to the road.

Start from your pole height and the road you are lighting, then confirm the details with us.

Arterial road with 8-10 m poles?
TR408-A gives the 96-LED head and 80 W panel for this class.
Highway poles at 10-12 m?
TR408-B with 120 SMD 5050 LEDs and the 120 W panel suits the longer spans.
Long route needing the largest array?
TR408-C pairs the 150 W panel with a 25.6 V battery.
Need the highest pole in the family?
TR408-C also reaches the 12 m limit, the tallest mount in the range.
Common questions

Asked & answered.

Answers drawn from the specifications above. Need a parameter that is not listed? Send us a question — we reply within 24 hours.

What mounting heights does the TR408 Series Solar Street Light cover?
Across its 3 variants, this family covers mounting heights of 8-10m, 10-12m. Pick the one that matches your pole height and the road width you are lighting — tell us your target height and we will confirm the fit.
Is the TR408 Series Solar Street Light integrated or split?
This family uses an all-in-one design — solar panel, battery, controller and LED are integrated in a single fixture. Mount it on the pole and switch it on; no external wiring or battery box.
What battery and light source does the TR408 Series Solar Street Light use?
Configurations across the family include batteries (12.8V/30AH / 12.8V/45AH / 25.6V/30AH) and a SMD 5050/96pcs / SMD 5050/120pcs / SMD 5050/144 pcs light source. The per-variant pairing is listed in the table above; sites needing longer autonomy can step up to a larger battery and panel.
Can I order more than one variant in the same project?
Yes. All 3 variants belong to one family and can be mixed freely in a single order — the MOQ applies per model. Share your pole-height breakdown and we will recommend the mix.
Which voltage should a highway project use?
Tell us the route length and any existing battery standard; the family offers both 12.8 V and 25.6 V packs.
Does the panel need a special foundation?
The fixture mounts on the pole only; the pole and its foundation are supplied by the installer.
How does the light run after midnight?
The motion sensor keeps output high for traffic and lowers it when the road is quiet, which stretches the battery.
What about a route with long cloudy periods?
Share your region and the longest overcast run you expect, and we will match the panel and battery to it.
What should the container loading plan assume?
Fixture boxes stack two-high; send your quantity and we will confirm the loading and packing advice.
How do I request a highway recommendation?
Send road width, pole height, route length and destination, and we reply within 24 hours.
Is the TR408 available as an OEM / ODM build for a highway programme?
Yes — logo, packing and the panel or battery step-up can follow your programme, with the motion profile set to the corridor. Contact sales for MOQ and lead time.
