The Brief
A new urban district needed its 9 km central arterial avenue lit before the first residential handover. The road carries four lanes plus service lanes, with a landscaped median — and the district authority wanted the avenue lit without waiting for the medium-voltage network to reach the corridor.
The authority’s requirements:
- Both carriageways lit from median-mounted poles only — no poles on the outer verges
- Full-night lighting at highway-adjacent levels
- Fixture appearance consistent with the district’s streetscape specification
- Delivery and commissioning inside one quarter
Our Solution
The TR248-C dual-arm all-in-one was designed for exactly this layout: two lamp arms on one pole, each with its own panel, battery and LED array.
- 320 poles at 28 m median spacing — one pole does the work of two
- Asymmetric lens on each arm, tuned to throw toward the outer lanes
- High-temperature battery pack rated for sustained 50°C+ ambient operation
- Galvanized poles finished to the district’s streetscape color specification
