The Brief
A seaside residential development south of Manila wanted its internal roads lit without adding a single centavo to the association’s monthly electricity bill. The environment is hard on hardware: salt spray from the breakwater, standing water in the rainy months, and the occasional typhoon passing directly overhead.
The association’s checklist:
- Salt-spray-proof fixtures — previous conventional lights had corroded within two years
- Warm, residential light: bright enough for evening walks, not floodlit
- Typhoon resilience — no detachable panels or loose fittings
Our Solution
We supplied the TR348-B all-in-one with a salt-spray-rated coating and 316 stainless fasteners.
- 96 units along 4.2 km of internal roads at 40–45 m spacing
- 3000K warm-white output selected for the residential character of the streets
- One-piece die-cast housing with no external cables — nothing for wind-driven rain to pull at
- Solar panel, battery and LED sealed inside the fixture, so typhoon prep means zero extra work
