The Brief
The park operator was expanding a second production block and needed night-time perimeter coverage before the official fire-safety inspection. Extending the grid to eight pole positions would have meant trenching across a concrete truck apron — a two-week civil work that the schedule could not absorb.
Requirements from the operator:
- 360° light coverage from each pole position, no dark corners between masts
- No trenching, no cabling, no impact on finished concrete surfaces
- Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation with motion-based dimming during idle hours
Our Solution
We mounted our UFO-format LED flood heads in a circular ring array on 12 m solar high-mast poles — the same ring configuration used at ports and logistics yards.
- Six flood heads per ring, individually angled to overlap coverage between masts
- LiFePO4 battery sized for 3 rainy days of autonomy
- Remote monitoring gateway on two of the eight masts for fleet-level health checks
Numbers
- 8 masts / 48 flood heads installed in 6 working days
- Zero trenching — civil work limited to standard pole foundations
- Measured average illuminance at the truck apron: 22 lux
- Passed the fire-safety night inspection on first submission
