The Brief
An island resort was renovating its garden wings and wanted pathway lighting that disappeared into the landscape by day. The existing grid-fed garden lights had meant trenching between planting beds every time the landscape plan changed — the maintenance team wanted to be done with that permanently.
The resort’s requirements:
- Wayfinding-level light on garden paths, the beach walkway and the spa courtyard
- Fixtures that sit naturally in dense tropical planting and on courtyard walls
- No trenching, no cabling — and no re-wiring when beds are replanted
- All-night operation for guest safety, every night of the year
Our Solution
We split the order across two variants of the LS-600 line: ground-set bollards for the garden paths and beach walkway, and wall-mount units for the courtyard perimeter walls.
- 92 bollards along 1.8 km of garden and beach paths
- 28 wall-mount units on courtyard and villa-party walls
- 2700K warm output with full cutoff shielding — light falls on the path, not into the tree canopy or guest windows
- Battery autonomy set for the equatorial wet season’s overcast stretches

- Zero trenching through the gardens — grounds team confirmed no plant loss
