Overview

Built for the road it lights.

LY · LY-A / LY-B / LY-C

LY Series solar street lights run on a simple dusk-to-dawn rule: a photocell switches the light on at sunset and off at sunrise, with no motion sensor involved. A/B/C variants share one slim IP66 housing that carries the solar panel, a LiFePO4 battery, an MPPT controller and an SMD 5050 LED array.

The family suits community roads and footpaths across 4-7 m poles. LY-A is the 4-5 m build with 42 SMD 5050 LEDs, LY-B covers 5-6 m with 70 LEDs, and LY-C reaches 6-7 m on 98 LEDs, with the panel rising from 25 W to 45 W and the battery from 30 Ah to 60 Ah.

Why buyers pick it

Built in, not bolted on.

The features below come from the family's own specification — nothing here is available as a paid extra.

  • Photocell controlThe light needs no sensing to run; sunset switches it on and sunrise switches it off.
  • Constant night outputOutput holds steady through the dark hours instead of rising and falling with traffic.
  • Slim housingThe 205 mm body keeps weight low, which suits lighter community poles.
  • SMD 5050 arrayThe LED bar steps from 42 to 98 chips as the pole and the road grow.
  • All-in-one buildPanel, battery, controller and LED ship in one sealed IP66 fixture ready to bolt on.
  • Low running costNo grid feed and no trenching means the family carries no energy bill.
Selection guide

Match the model to the road.

Start from your pole height and the road you are lighting, then confirm the details with us.

Footpath or lane with 4-5 m poles?
LY-A suits this with 42 SMD 5050 LEDs and the 25 W panel.
Community street on 6-7 m poles?
LY-C carries 98 LEDs and the 45 W panel for the wider reach.
Standard 5-6 m layout?
LY-B is the middle variant with 70 LEDs and the 35 W panel.
Where lights must stay on all night?
The photocell keeps output on from dusk to dawn, which is the point of the LY platform.
Common questions

Asked & answered.

Answers drawn from the specifications above. Need a parameter that is not listed? Send us a question — we reply within 24 hours.

What mounting heights does the LY Series Solar Street Light cover?
Across its 3 variants, this family covers mounting heights of 4-5m, 5-6m, 6-7m. Pick the one that matches your pole height and the road width you are lighting — tell us your target height and we will confirm the fit.
Is the LY Series Solar Street Light integrated or split?
This family uses an all-in-one design — solar panel, battery, controller and LED are integrated in a single fixture. Mount it on the pole and switch it on; no external wiring or battery box.
What battery and light source does the LY Series Solar Street Light use?
Configurations across the family include batteries (3.2V/30AH / 3.2V/45AH / 3.2V/60AH) and a SMD 5050/42pcs / SMD 5050/70pcs / SMD 5050/98pcs light source. The per-variant pairing is listed in the table above; sites needing longer autonomy can step up to a larger battery and panel.
Can I order more than one variant in the same project?
Yes. All 3 variants belong to one family and can be mixed freely in a single order — the MOQ applies per model. Share your pole-height breakdown and we will recommend the mix.
Is there any motion sensor on the LY?
No; the LY runs a dusk-to-dawn profile, so it lights continuously rather than brightening on movement.
How does it handle a fully overcast day?
The battery holds the night run; for long cloud spells, tell us the worst stretch and we will size the panel and battery to it.
Does the photocell need setting?
The threshold is set at the factory; we can adjust it for a very bright or a dim location if you tell us about it.
What appears in the pack for a village order?
Fixtures are boxed for container loading; share the quantity and destination and we will confirm the loading advice.
Which parts wear first?
The battery is the first wear item; keeping the panel clean is the main routine task on a photocell fixture.
What do you need to recommend a model?
Pole height, road width and the number of nights you expect to run, and we will reply within 24 hours.
Do you produce the LY for OEM / ODM customers?
Yes — the LY takes your logo on the housing and your packing, and its factory photocell threshold can be set for your location. Contact sales for MOQ and lead time.
